"Revised Serial Number" ??

I just got the email.


1) It is legit right? (yes, Im paranoid)


2) Is there *any* chance of this messing up any metaverse games I have in progress, or any future meta games, or meta stats in general?

Just got mine too. I assume it won't change anything other then the registration / download. I could be wrong though...

I have an email into support because my original serial worked fine (although when I put the game on a second PC last week, it did ask for the serial again). Not quite sure why the change, and if it's absolutely necessary that we do it.

I had a problem with DA asking for the gold edition serial and not accepting the one for the expansion. The new serial worked fine. As I was not alone with this bug I assume they have updated the whole serial number system across the board and generated a whole new batch of serials.

I don't know whether its essential you update your serial, but that should have been covered in the email i guess.

Those emails are legit. We had to send out updated serials to resolve an issue we found.

I didn't have to change anything, I looked at the serial number in Stardock Central and it is the new one that was emailed to me today.
