expansion purchase can you download it and then install on another computer

Problem: want the expansion on my home computer but unwilling to download it via dialup modem

Solution: download it at work via T1 line and then transport home for install

Question: can you do this? I seem to remember that when purchasing via download, you could only install/play on the same machine used for the download

Can anyone clarify this?

All you would need to do is install Stardock Central at work, log in with your account, and right-click on GC2 and choose the archive application->download and archive option. This will pull the game down and store it as a .sdc file in Program Files\Stardock\Stardock Central\BACKUP without installing it on that machine. Then you simply burn the .sdc archive file to a DVD or copy it to a USB drive, along with the SDC installer itself.

At home, just install SDC then double-click on the .sdc archive file in windows explorer to install the game. Connect to the internet, run the game, and enter your email/serial to activate if it prompts you to (this is only required the first time). Then you're good to go.
