Alliances

Hi,

a quick question. In my current DA game, I am "close" with 4 civs and have an Alliance with one of them.

When I speak to the leader of the other 3 Civs, I can't choose "Alliance". Why ?

Need to research the tech, and make sure they have it too.

You'd be surprised at how often for me gifting the "alliance" tech is enough to push relations from "friendly" to "close"...

It usually happens for me when I get a race close, I go to ally with them, and they don't have it yet. Once they get it, the option comes up and all is well with the world.
