Spore ship bug

Thats not a toxic planet, THIS is a toxic planet!

Okay, so whenever a spore ship attacks a planet, it turns into a toxic one. So why doesn't that planet look toxic? the planet lists toxic, but it's not purple or anything? Isn't the planet suppose to turn purple, or am I just stupid?

No, planets stay whatever way they were originally. Only the atmosphere is toxified, the terrain is still the same

That just doesn't sound right. Couldn't the devs just get that planet texture and turn it purple like in irfan view or something like that?
