I was wondering if anyone can help me figure this out with window blinds

I recently got the full version of window blinds and installed the Vista Ultimate skin pack, It ended up not looking like what i expected, i loved the taskbar and start menu but the windows where not transparent like i had expected and it does not match the overall appearance of my UI, I was wondering if there was a way to either just have the taskbar and start menu with my old Zune theme (Black and orange) or figure out how to make the windows looks darker/smoother/clear.

Thanks alot

Hi, I know that you can always use a specific taskbar by opening Windowblinds....user overrides & Xp overrides...assuming that is the OS you are using & select from there. As far as the start menu I am not aware of a setting for that. I am sure that someone more knowledgeable will come along & help

It's My Secret

Open your Windowblinds config - on the left click on " User Overrides"

he windows where not transparent like i had expected

Does your computer support the per pixel borders ?
You can check for this in WB config - again on the left side - click on System Info.

My computer doesnt support this so I have checked off " Never use per pixel borders on a skin " in the system info..

But i would kinda like to only keep the taskbar and start menu at this point with my old black theme cuz the folders and such dont look very good or the browsers, but i would still like to know ho to make transparent borders and such for future uses. THanks

That would imply that your system in fact does not support per-pixel transparency or that hardware acceleration is not being used.

Open WB Config, click System Information, copy the contents of that window (put the cursor in the text area & scroll down with the down arrow key to be sure you get everything - a scrollbar should be there to clue you in but for some reason that dialog doesn't have one) and then paste the contents in a reply here. That may help sort it out.

Where did you get it?

If you got it from Stardock your file dates would be not so old.

BringMeTheHorizon, Your file dates do not indicate that you have recently downloaded WB.
This leads to an assumption that perhaps you got the version of WB through means outside of purchasing it yourself.

If you have purchased WB, it would be in your best interest to uninstall the version you have and reinstall using Stardock Central.  This would insure the most current files.
