Skins won't display properly, WB 5.5 on Vista.

Greetings: I just couldn't wait for the public release of WB for Vista, so I purchased Object Desktop a few days ago. I've done two incremental updates since the 13th, the most recent of which was just this afternoon. I was not affected by the recent errant build 5.10 snafu. However, I've not been able to get a single skin to display properly - there are large sections of black where there should be a background and text. For example, on the Vista StartMenu, no matter which skin I choose, it displays all black except for the user account icon, and the individual menu icons. Otherwise, it's black. There are portions of the skin that display as indicated in the WB preview, but for the most part, they seem "hosed."
I'm running Vista Business in Aero mode, with an Nvidia GS7800 OC, with Forceware driver build 100.64. Any ideas?
Also, are there in fact any Vista specific skins included with 5.5 that would amount to variations on the Aero theme or does anyone know where I might download one? I like the Aero look, and was hoping to see WindowBlinds embelish upon or polish the existing theme.
Thanks,
CF
