Marc: unless you called someone a name, said something really derogatory about them or went on their blog and trolled, I really don't think you have anything to apologize for.
Things can get a bit heated around here sometimes, but nobody really holds too much of a grudge.
It would be a sparsely inhabited cyber communtiy if articles like yours "upset" people. I thought it was good.
Trolling is when someone goes to your blog and puts comments that have nothing to do with your blog.
