I joined the Wedge today!

I joined the wedge today. The Wedge is a food co-op a few bocks from my house. I began shopping at co-ops after I was diagnosed with celiac disease and found they offered a lot of gluten free foods.

The Wedge has the friendliest employees I have ever seen. They are all so helpful, it is amazing, the will drop anything to help you out. They will order you special products if there is somthing you want that they don't have.

They have the BEST produce section of organic fruits and vegis. Their strawberries are the best I have ever tasted. I think once you go organic, it is hard to go back.

So do yourslef a favor and go to your local co-op or farmers market and pick up a treat!

I love, love, love farmer's markets.  You can get some really good, organic foods there.

The town we're going to in England has a farmer's market twice a week...I'm so looking forward to shopping there again!

I, too, adore farmer's markets--the produce is always better and the prices are usually a steal.

The farmers market here should be opening soon. I love coming back with bags and bags of produce and fresh flowers, it is one of my favorite parts of summer!

Dharma~ I do hope you shall continue blogging after the move!

We are going to RAF Alconbury, about 40 miles away from Cambridge.  My hometown is a little place (not so little now) called Bicester, about 15 miles away from Oxford.  Alconbury is about an hour's drive away from my parent's house..so yeah, it's close, and I'm really freakin' happy about that!  I haven't seen my mom or dad in 9 years....they've never met my youngest son.  They're planning on being at the airport when we fly in...it's going to be quite a reunion.

You co-op Hippie!!!

I'm glad you found a good place to shop close to your new apartment after your rough start. I don't think I've ever really shopped at a co-op before. I'll have to check it out.

Some day we will all shop at collectives.  The workers of the world must overthrow the evil grocery store-owning capitalists.
