Ships that Increase Logistics?

Is it possible to create a special ship that increases the logistics of whatever fleet it is in?

I am thinking that this might be an answer to "Will we ever have Carriers?" question, assuming it is possible.

I hope that it is, because that sounds like an interesting prospect.

Negative logistics costs on hulls work fine, aside from displaying incorrectly when you select a single ship with negative logistics value. Only hulls have logistics values though, so you'd need to add a new hull.

Note though that you'd be able to place an infinite number of such hulls in a fleet. You may be able to withhold yourself from doing that, but don't complain when the AI figures out to do it

Thanks for the info Kryo, How would I go about creating a new Hull?

This is another reason for me to get DA, so that I can set that hull into a template only (if possible) and prevent any of the other races from having access to it.
