Are the recent skins here that "bad"?

When I go through looking for something to feature, I look for exceptionally cool skins that show off what's possible with UI customization.  It's subjective, yes.  Sometimes I go back several pages in the galleries waiting for something to catch my eye.  I happened to like that skin, even though it's 6 months old.

There's actually absolutely no reason NOT to.

The vast majority of the Wincustomize.com users have not been here 5 years....and thus could easily have overlooked a skin which predates their joining.

Old may be 'primitive' [for some applications] but it certainly does not mean 'inferior'....

I had a "brain fart", simple as that. I didn't realize that I created my Nordagan WB all those months ago. I still feel like I created it yesterday.
When I saw the featured skin today, the first thing that came to mind was, "Man, that's an old skin!".
It didn't dawn on me that the skin was almost as old as mine.
With age, these silly mistakes will be more frequent............

one thing I wanted to add to this discussion:

Sometimes I'll find something that was really good that never got featured and feature it even if it's really old because I felt that the author didn't get the kudos he or she deserved.

Well then it must be contagious because I have been wondering about the feature skin for a while now. I've been thinking man these skins have been kind of old (in skinning terms) lately, what's up with that? I don't know what you said Z71 but from some of the comments above it sounds like the same so you were not alone.
