Window resizing-wierd toolbar remnants

Why does this happen?

I only see this in Explorer and IE windows.(all my skins that have any detail at the right side of the toolbar)

Firefox does not do this.Of course it disappears if you rollup or move another window over it.

All versions of wb have done this on all my pc's.

it seems to be following the address bar
if i move it around, whichever row it's on is the one distorted

Your right Bichur,it still does it without the address bar but not as bad.
but what is causing the artifacts?
Firefox dosnt do this at all.

Do you have 2 images for the toolbar or 1? There should be one.
feel free to email me the skin and I can take a look.

wait a sec, I think I have seen this before. Does it go away if you roll up and unroll the window frame?

If yes, I never found a fix for that.

yes

yes

Try setting the image to tile instead of stretching or vice versa. It might help it might not. I think the image is responding to the last minimized window size and resets on roll up. In other words it is an XP thing, not a windowblinds thing.

I don't know.

If I grab the right edge of the window and resize back and forth (or left and right as it were) it shows the remnants.

its a redrawing issue, the image in this case has to be tiled.
Craig, its any skin with any detail at the edge of the graphic.
That means its the part within the right margin set in Skinstudio.

why does explorer(and IE) do this and FF not?

It used to do it for me quite often. I haven't experienced it yet since switching to IE7.

Bichur,I was gonna use 'poke' next.

Yeah NT,I suspect IE7 has a completely different toolbar setup...from what I've seen,I didnt like it.

Even if you have IE7,it still does it in Explorer.

I have only made ONE skin that doent have some detail there(Plasmatron AI)and its the only one that dosnt do this.
I find this very frustrating and limiting.

Still no answer as to why?...isnt there anybody out there that knows why this is happening?Or how to fix it?
Its obviously not just me.

I don't know why it's happening, but I don't know how to fix it.
