Nice find : Tabs for Explorer

I was made aware of this nifty little app in a german forum :

QTTabBar

basically it adds a TabBar to explorer windows to open different folders in one window using tabs (most like in firefox). Tabs are skinnable also. Has some usefull functionality like the saving of groups.

Runs with XP and Vista and needs Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.

Very interesting! I often find that I got a whole pile of Explorer windows open when working on websites or DesktopX projects.

I had to uninstall it because for some reason it changed mspaint and I cannot open images created with it. Not a valid win32 app it says. Any ideas would be most welcome. I had no problem until I installed it.

This does look interesting...kinda reminds me of Finder, having customizable folders and stuff on the left and this has tabs to frequently used folders. I'm tempted to try it but would rather not risk something going wrong (like poor Uvah, I know how that goes). :S

Hm, I really can't imagine why this one should struggle with mspaint (?)

Not so much a struggle...Just happen to like it, it's clean and simple. Of course it's lightyears behind paint.net or gimp but I guess I'm just used to it. Would like to know how to correct this though.

They have a new Version with several enhancements, maybe that also reduces problems.
