i used bootskin, and i chose my skin, and i applied, but when i restarded, it wouldnt load to my desktop, thankfully i managed to find a way to start up my computer before i applied the bootskin, why did it do that?

One of the reasons that Bootskin is unsupported is that it doesn't react well to all BIOS.

If you want, you can try a different version. Some people have luck with the older ones.
