Object Dock animated Gifs

I just made a gif animation icon and i wanted to set it as a shortcut to a program in object dock pro. But when i change the original shortcut icon to my new (awesome) gif, all i get is the first frame in the animation...
I thought inserting a simple animation docklet (the default spiny globe, i dont have any others) into object dock and then changing its target, but when i try to do that, object dock closes. Also, i dont know how to turn the simple animation docklet into a shortcut, currently, all it does is spin.
Does anyone know how to get a gif animation into object dock?

You need the animated shortcut docklet WWW Link
Also, an animated icon for Object Dock is not a gif, they are png strips.

Cavan1 is right on, the animation docklet was just made as an example to show you could have animated dock icons

you need to take your gif frames and make a png strip - one easy way is to convert your .gif frames to .png frames then put them together with AniUtil

Once add animated shortcut, right click it, configure shortcut. On dialog that opens I have found you need to backspace out the path that is in it, you can then click button beside path and browse for .exe you want.
