In all my time on computers there has only been 1.. repeat 1 screensaver that actually impressed me. It was called Voodoo Lights and it was THE most awesome thing of it's time. If memory servers, it came out in the late 90's and you needed a Voodoo based video card to have it look right. Back then, the only good voodoo card was a Diamond Monster add on card which daisy chained to your regular video card. You HAD to have it if you played Quake I, because with it... you could run GL Quake... but that's a whole nuther story...

I have one of those here somewhere.

I've seen a few 'good' ones over the years....but I don't use them .... 'blank' works quite well enough.

I do, however 'mod' them here...hence seeing this EULA....

the only good voodoo card was a Diamond Monster


Not sure when that was.......I had an Orchid card way back when for running AutoCAD.
As I remember it was one of the first Voodoo cards.

I used to have a SS called Psyc & another called Hypno in the Win3.1 days that were by the same guy and both very addictive. Nowadays I have Aqua Real but find I keep going back to Hyperspace which you can get HERE along with a lot of other Open GL screen savers. My wife hates the Skyrocket one cause it scares the shite out of here when it comes on.
