hide taskbar problems

i've used the free version of objectdock and they had an option to hide the taskbar. the plus version has one too but the free version had something called "reserve space". i want the objectdock to have its own space so that all open windows are above the dock, not underneath it. is ther any way to do that in the plus version?

Both standard and tabbed docks have the "Reserve edge of screen" option..... in Positioning.
