Server Issues - January 28th

As you've no doubt noticed today, we've been experiencing some severe server problems in the past 24 hours.  Very early this morning (3-4am-ish EST) we began to see very high CPU load and crashing problems on the servers connected to WinCustomize. 

Around noon EST, we brought the servers back to life and most functionality on the site is back.  We are still looking into what caused these issues, and what is causing the ongoing performance problems.  We are fully aware of the problems the past 24 hours.  Frogboy himself was up into the wee hours of the morning trying to nurse the servers back to health.

Expect performance improvements in the next few days as our net devs take a crack at things.

I apologize for the inconvenience, and just wanted to warn everyone that as we work on fixing things, the site may behave slower than usual or be unavailable at periods.  We are working to track this down as fast as we can.

UPDATE: New code was pushed to the servers this afternoon and things look to have evened out.  Here's hoping all remains well.

I know first hand that servers sometimes are a problem, but I seem to be able to get anywhere I want for now. Thank you for working so hard on a Sunday.

I take the opportunity of having the line to tell you its 6:30 GMT Monday morning and problems are still there .
Like yesterday, the only thing (except this forum that I could reach) that I can see is the home page and "Wincustomize error" when I try to go anywhere else.
Just to let you know.

Im able to download things through the Wincustomize Browser, but it hangs for quite awhile and then the thumbs of items appear. But on each one at the bottom it says cannot load data 2. Otherwise things download ok..

Well, its 3:48 am and its back to all WC personal sites and all WC galleries are unreachable.

Hey Guys,

We are currently working on the situation with not being able to get to certain pages on Wincustomize.  The problem is due to one of our database servers and is not currently due to the website itself.  We'll get things back to you as soon as we can.
