vista glass skin problem

Ok to start off i am totally new at this windowblinds thing and i just wanted to fcancy up my computers looks, First i got a theme and all that, but i wanted this windows vista theme which is transparent,but when i click to install the startbar has the transparent glassy effect, but when you look at the windows outlines there is none at all, here is what mine looks like





this is what i want it to look like or something near it .......






ANY IDEAS,PLZ HELP??????????

Are you using a trial version of WindowBlinds, or a full [paid] version? And which release of WindowBlinds is it?

If you're using a trial ...not everything gets skinned. In the full version, presuming you have a system capable of running it, everything does get skinned.

Open up the WB configuration window, click on 'system information' and copy/paste the information you see there to this thread.

Might also help to mention your computer's specifications.

I'll assume you have a reasonably high-end comp, as you didn't post that info.

I'd say that it's because it's a trial version that not all is skinned. Look forward to those extra features when you do buy the full version.

Remember ...when you do eventually buy the full one ...make sure you completely uninstall that trial version first, reboot your comp ..install the full version, reboot again ...and you'll be good to go.

Backup any skins you have now [that you want to keep] to another folder somewhere first, then move them back again after the new install.

The trial will not do glass on any downloaded skins.  Only a few of the included skins will do glass with the trial.
