Problem with Master skin Challenger

I have one question about Master skins. I bought the Master skin "Challenger" and when its applied...after clicking on start then the desktop parts of the start menu remain behind until I refresh the desktop. Now, I don't know if its the skin itself or the software, but if it is the skin this is not something I would expect from a Master skin.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Ditto on the start menu thingy ... happens with a few skins.

I just reload the skin and it goes away..

It usually does this when I turn a Visual Styles skin into a WindowBlind. As Erk said just reload it.

It happens to me as well after I've done way too much skin switching in a short amount of time. A reboot makes the problem go away.

Are the artifacts left behind after using "glow" buttons maybe due to a lot of switching of skins? I occasionally get little "glow" rectangles that stay on the desktop and on top of everything else 'til I log off or reboot. Dunno why.

Wonder if that problem exists with wb4.6 or is it just a wb 5+ problem?

Running 5.~ since it came out. Can't even remember if it occurred on 4.6. Don't think we had glowbuttons on 4.6, did we. Me brain cells don't always find each other...

Never saw this problem with 4.6, but it happens a lot of skins now with 5.0...so the question is...whats different with the skins that it doesn't happen with ? And can or will it be fixed?

WebGizmos check to see if the wallpaper is a bmp or a jpg, I've noticed that this seems to occur with jpg walls on my machine.

seldomseen try opening a dialog up that will be behind the glow effect, preferably the one that left the glow behind and then close it by the OK or Cancel button.

I have a particular program that will leave the glow almost every time I close it's window by using the titlebar close button. To get rid of it I can open a dialog again and use the Close button on the dialog. I'm trained now to only use the button on the dialog.
