Why isn't it downloading

from WinCustomize Forums
I am trying to download a Windowblind skin from this site (wincustomize) but it's not downloading. It shows the downloader icon on my computer but when I try to open it, it can't locate the file? And on the skin site where it says to download the skin it says Amount Downloaded and Amount Remaining

I never had this problem until the site changed

I'm using FF2 and I'm on XP service pack 2 for the computer.

I don't get it

Hello,

There are download limits in place if you havent bought anything from Stardock or Wincustomize.

You will need to purchase a subscription or product for unlimited file downloading.

I got it to download but it took forever I mean it shouldn't it never did. I have a XPS 700 so everything on the computer goes pretty fast. When I open up the folder though, it just gives me a bunch of crap? And doesn't go into the Windowblinds as a new skin?

If you haven't reached your limit it would have downloaded like it always did. What you describe is exactly what happens when you have reached your download limit. You get the file but it will not apply to the program. As Jason Carver said, you will have to subscribe to the site or buy a Stardock program to be able to download anymore.

Oh, I didn't know there was a limit, I bought the software :\ I'll go ahead and get a subscription then.

If you bought the software, you need to cross-reference your Stardock account with Wincustomize. You're profile shows you as a visitor, and you should be a current customer with unlimited downloads.

Click the "Setting" tab on the top right of the front page, and then click "Cross Reference with your Stardock account".
