I dont understand whats going on

I have a skin on and everything works fine, except when i click start, the menu that pops up is not skinned. Its not just this skin, none of them will skin the actual start menu. Open up the windowblinds config window, and copy/paste that info here, so people can possibly get an idea of what's wrong.

The classic start menu never gets skinned.
ObjectDock - Access shortcuts and frequently used applications from an animated dock.

Are you using the trial version? It doesn't skin everything.

Right click on your start button > properties > Start menu tab > uncheck classic start menu > Check off start menu > hit apply and ok
reapply windowblind.

Ohhhh, cool thanks, now i have one other predicament, the color keeps getting changed to the skins color, and I unchecked the box that says apply the skins color theme. Is there anyway so that the color on my desktop doesnt get changed back?

Not sure on that - it doesn't work for me either. But, I usually have a wallpaper up. I use a nice neutral wall when I don't want any distraction. Other than that, I just Right click on desktop > go to display > change the desktop to the color I want again.
I know its a pain that it changes back after rebooting - maybe someone else has a fix for this, it just never bothered me.
