how to remove icons

from Stardock Forums
hi guys, i just got this and i think its awesome, but for some reason i was able to drag items off the dock to delete them but now i cant drag them at all, not even along the dock, is there any way to fix this or am i doomed forever to have the pointless weather icon up there?

You should be able to right click on an icon on the dock and select "Remove Entry" and that should get rid of it.

Try Right-clicking on the dock somewhere there isn't an icon and un-checking "Lock-Dragging" if it's checked.

This happens when ( Lock Dragging ) is checked. You need to first uncheck Lock Dragging in ObjectDock right click menu, then drag the icons you want to delete. But remember to check Lock Dragging again after that to avoid accidentally deleting an icon in the future. Hope this will be helpful.

Lock dragging...never knew about that, lol. Now I don't have to worry about accidentally removing an entry (or better yet, my mom accidentally doing it).

Yeah...its really a bummer when you kinda accidentally grab something...pull it off the dock and just see the poof....not knowing what the heck it was until you need it.
