i have downloaded adni18's skinbut the email and temprature doesn't work , and is it possible to make it transparent.

Are you allowing those widgets to have access to the internet via your firewall?

The skin you have linked to, Vista Plus 2, is just a WindowBlinds skin it does not include email and weather widgets.
