HEY, WHERE DID MY ICONS GO?

I hope this has not been posted somewhere else because God knows I have looked and looked for a thread addressing this. I downloaded IE7 and the toolbar icons that I downloaded from wincustomize are gone, replaced by these generic looking funky icons. I hate them! But the system will not let me redownload IE6, because a popup appears saying the download cannot continue because windows has detected a newer version of internet explorer running. I have been trying to find a fix for this for over a month with no luck. Can anyone help me with this? Peggy

IE7 is not skinned by any outside programs, it's just the way Microsoft has coded it for XP. In Vista it should support outside skinning.

You should just be able to un-install IE7 from the Add/Remove software section which will return your system to IE6.

When IE7 is installed it archives your IE6 so that you can revert back to it if you need to.

All you do is uninstall IE7 and IE6 will restore back into its place....

I just read that on a post the other day.. haven't tried it yet.

Just in case, did IE6 come with SP2?
