Your new page layout

I've been a member for many years now and although I find your new page format much more attractive, it is not as efficient as the old and familiar layout.   Before, I could breeze through hundreds of images quickly.   Now it takes forever just to get through a few pages.  The program is too slow, and frustrating, waiting for very slow image creation on the page.   Eljay

I feel the same way, it looks nice, but locating everything and looking through skins, wallpapers,icons, etc just takes for ever, the site is not running slow, it hard to find stuff

What's up @ Stardock? Someone must have too much time on their hands. It takes sooo Long to get to the download page I've gone back to useing Stardock Central as my viewing choice. You can only look a 4 views at a time crazy. I'm sure one day it will be alright, but today's not that Day.

Have you gone to your settings and changed how many display at a time? You can have up to 48 views per page since you're a member.

Hello, can I give my 2 cents on the subject?.
well , since I here no objections...( thank God. I'd be w0rried if I did lol ).

I think the new site is Awesome!...for one it is much nicer but for me it loads much better.
and things to me are much more clearer as to were to find the catagory you want. I mean if you scroll...you will find the catagory list of walls and windowblinds ect, ect. I am really happy with it so far. and im sure it will only get better.

over all it's more user friendly and n0t as slow as it use to be. Thanks WinCustomize keep up the go0d w0rk!

You can in your settings in your account area change the # of items you see at once. I.e. you could have it display like 40 at a time.

The old site maxed out at what? 25? and was much slower.  The image server is running slow which we're working on but that has nothing to do with the new site.

I can only set 8. That is a lot worse than the old site.

So far in three of the galleries...sysmetrix, rainlendar and windowblinds the page will not advance. I put up a post in forums but...this is getting a little scary.

It's not so much the speed for me. This site has always been a little slow. That was ok though. The problem that I have is that it no longer works with Netscape. So I have to use IE. I hate IE. Then when I download something it save to a temporary folder. One that apparently does not exist on my system. Fix it so that you can download to whatever folder you want and I'll be happy. The new site looks great, but if it doesn't work the way that people need it to what is the point?
