LogonStudio Vista Beta next week!

And so it begins...

Next week users of Object Desktop who have Windows Vista will be able to try out the first beta of LogonStudio.  We will be adding a "Vista Logons" gallery to WinCustomize.com where users can share their replacement Windows Vista logons.

In the following weeks, we plan to get the Vista boot screen section up and running as well.

If you don't have Object Desktop, you can get it at www.objectdesktop.com.

Does it work only on the RTM or is it compatible with any of the RC versions?

Awesome! I guess I better reinstall Vista.

Would also like to see a new build for XP... one that actually uses all PNG files so that I can restart my Love Hina logonstudio project. I never got around to finishing that because I could not make the skin the way I wanted it to.

Sounds great ! Hey boss come on over and help me finish building my new Vista ready computer with the new Intel® Core™2 Extreme Quad-Core Processor and a lot of other extras. We could really get things off the ground!!!

Shelby, unless you've retired and moved to Hawaii already, I don't think I'll come visit your Ice House in Texas right now.

Sounds like a great computer you're building though...

It might work on RC2. No guarantees. We will not be testing it on RC2.

What you see is what you get for this build. It will be rather restricted, but it should let you make your logon screen look pretty, and that's what matters.
