A navigational sidebar is better located on the right side most of the times. It's closer to the browser windows scrollbar which always is located on the right side. Allowing for less travel distance between the scrollbar and navigational panel. And since western languages are read left to right it also make sense to put the sidebar to the right so your eyes don't have to travel across the sidebar area every time to find the start of the main content you are looking for

no no you misunderstand...im not talking about resolution...i am talking about browser size...i dont know if your poll included the relative size people browse in - but i like my browsers in small windows, but if its on the right i am willing to change

Yes.  They are being worked on now. Possibly will see it later today but more likely tomorrow.

No, this would not be a cookie issue.  Most likely its a FireFox Caching Bug.  Clear your cache and that should fix it.

xDaYSx, the right linkbar is going to be different if you are reading this thread from the "forums". Please look at the url in your browser. If you click on the "Home" button at the top, you should be able to see the gallery on the right hand side from the WinCustomize home page. From there, you should be able to edit your library list, just click on the 'Edit' link.

most people dont have the browser so big that it can show the main navagation pane on the right...it looks and runs good, but it would really be better if the navagation pane remained on the left.

I don't think that is true (and if so, they would have scrollbars on their browser).  I don't agree it would be better if navigation was on the right.

In the future, subscribers will have the ability to choose between different site skins so maybe there will be other view options then.

Well, I don't think they are designing the site based on people who like to have a tiny little browser window open... Just maximize your window when you are on WC and live with it. Geesh.

I'll go switch to the other computer shortly to see if its the same - but I was on that computer all day yesterday and it was like that.

well I deleted my cookies and cache, and that seemed to take care of the problem. I finally see a navigation bar. What an odd problem! lol

Im on my other computer now and the log in box is back on front page as well as gallery that was missing yesterday - i used a cookie cleaner before logging in - so must of been some missed cookies.

Great news!   

It's taking a little getting used to - finding out where everything is, etc, but all in all I really like the new look and feel its more in keeping with the new look of Vista. It certainly looks more sleek and polished than the previous site, so yeah, a big congrats to all who contributed to this great new look & feel to WC.

Um, Pat....I had already manually deleted my cache just after 2K7 went public....all 18000 files....and it was IE7, not Firefox...

It looks more like...load page once...not see the sidebar....reload page...see it.

Perhaps a glitch with a site update catching me in mid load....
