How Do I Get Taskbar Icons To Show Up?

I have installed a theme and on the bottom bar, I can see the Start Menu button, the programs opened, and the time but I do not see the system tray icons such as Norton and Trillian to show up. There is just a grey rectangle there. How do I get these to work right?

Thanks

Is it a DX theme?  Can you provide a link?

The author may not have included a systray object or you may not have SDMCP running.  That's an app that ties into the Windows system to display stuff like that.  You can get it here if you need it: Stardock MCP download

If it was a DXtheme: Do not worry you it is certainly explorer.exe which bug.
If you know how to make (and only if you can make) made ctrl+alt+suppr and remove explorer.exe, after very quickly made run (in startmenu)slap explorer.exe and OK.
If you are not sure to make that properly just restart the computer and reload the theme.
in general when you have a blank in place of systray it's that. But Zubaz is in right if the author have not make the theme properly.
