Back at the start of the month, I asked users if they would be interested in contributing to WinCustomize by writing articles to be featured in our articles section.  Several of you immediately volunteered yourselves for whatever mad-scientist like project I was brewing deep in the dark corners of my mind, and that is very much appreciated.

For responses, it was a relatively even split.  We received 146 votes in total, with 54% of you saying you'd be willing to toss in your two cents to help build up our articles and written content on WC.  If everyone who voted yes were to contribute just one article a month, that would be at least two featured articles to read each day! 

Expect more on the whole article writing thing from me in the next month or two.

But now, it's on to the first official poll of the WC2k7 era!  Of course since we just launched the new site and everyone's starting to get used to how things are laid out and where the new features are hidden away, now is the best time to get your initial reactions.

So, how are you liking the brand new WinCustomize design and layout?  Does it make you giggle with glee, or feel a little bit dead inside?  Cast your vote now!

Looks fantastic! Nice little touches all over the place; dotted-line link indicators are cool, I've been doing that in my web apps recently too. Also love the organic nature of the WC mascot, the contrast brings life (and focus) to an otherwise dark (and lifeless) background/header. The menus are intuitive and not annoying (mouseover menus drive me nuts).

Any plans for user preferences on the UI of the site?

Really Nice refresh, the site needed it.

They just don't have the troll filter in place on the new site. Give them a little time and I'm sure they'll have it back in place.

A little early to vote on likes and dislikes - all in all I think you did a good job on new site - just a few quirky bugs and a few features that are missing.

Ill giggle with glee when those are fixed - for now i'll just chuckle silently

The site design is amazing! That is, other than front page. The front page is a mess. I can't wait to see it go 100% functional, and it's great experience so far.
