No updates in Stardock central

Hi

I have not had any updates to Object desktop components or Objectdock plus since 18th October. As updates to WindowBlinds etc etc used to be regular I wondered if either updates had stopped due to work on Vista releases or my Stardock central had stopped working. If the latter how do I get updates working again, my subs does not expire until November.

Many thanks

If you open Tools Settings with the General Settings tab selected look for Applications. I have everything checked except Display long date format. What are your application settings?

currently, I'm showing 2 products with dates past 10/18/2006

WB beta 12/29/2006
IP beta 12/12/2006

If I uncheck show prerelease then Theme Mgr shows with a date of 10/18/2006

What version of SDC?
Which server under SDC, settings, internet? have you clicked the "refresh xml data" button?

Hi

Under SDC > tools > applications I have all checked except "Display long date format" and "Show pre-release (alpha-beta) versions.

I tried re-downloading SDC and re-installing / registering my products and still showing no updates. SDC is at version 2.36.434 build 139.

Other program versions are:
Object desktop
Theme Manager 2.30a.042
Window Blinds 5: 5.10.009
Objectbar 2.00.009
Icon packager 3.11.106
Desktop X 3.20.044
Windows FX 3.00.013
Skin Studio 5.01.049

Misc
ObjectDock plus 1.50.024
Cursor XP 1.31.015

If I enable show pre-release I do see beta versions. Are the above the latest production releases? If so my SDC must be OK.

Many thanks

right now I'm running SDC version 2.38.434 build 139

WB 5.1.009 is the latest release (non beta) as far as I know
TMgr - OB2 - - matches what I have
IP - I'm running a newer beta but your version shows as latest release available
DTX - matches what I have
WFX - yours shows as latest release
SkinS - matches

CXP - matches
I have OD free 1.50.029

so yep, you look up to date on releases

Hi

Under SDC tools > settings > general > auto update I have:

unchecked "Do not check for Stardock Central updates on startup"
Checked "Check for Stardock Central Release updates on startup"
unchecked "Check for any Stardock Central (Beta/release) updates"
checked "Prompt before updating Stardock Central"
checked "Prompt me when updated installed applications are found"
checked "Check for new and updated applications every hour"

Is yours 2.36 or 2.38?

I think the 2.38.434 build 139 is the latest release SDC.

Just updated to 2.38d(b).213 build 140

If you wanna give an update a shot... you can go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral in there, you will find a 'restore'. If you double click it, it will restore your SDC to a previous version. Then when you open SDC, it will look for the next version (released for you, since that is the option you have checked)

I've had to use the above once or twice in the last 3 yrs when I find in the forums that SDC has been updated, yet after a week or so I still get no notification of the SDC update when I open it. So I restored, then opened SDC and got the notification.

Hi

SDC is showing version 2.38.434 build 139. Looking at my earlier post I guess I made a typo with the 2.36. Appologies for any confusion.

I checked the item to check for beta releases of SDC and it prompted to install a beta release which I declined so it looks to be all working. I guess the focus is on stuff for Vista at the moment.

Many thanks
