Open Stardock Central and select Tools > Settings > General > then make sure you have the enable MCP options checked.

If this doesn't work, you can download and run the MCP here

You need to get the MCP process running... its found in Stardock Central's options.  Basically, it provides an interface to the Stardock applications that use the System Tray.   At least, thats my understanding of it...

A duplicate post on this by a different author pretty much says the same thing.

WWW Link

My question...
Why should you have to resort to this fix of installing MCP separately? Can't the application be fixed to work properly?

Generally, it *does* work fine, but in some cases, virus protection software and other apps of that nature prevent it from being properly installed to autorun. Unfortunate side-effect of greater security, I suppose.

I think that because of the variety of hardware, software, and security there are bound to be issues with applications. I am amazed that SD apps perform as well as they do.

You want everything to work all the time (but with no choices), get a Mac.

Otherwise, have a little more freedom and (once in a while) jump through a hoop.
