SDC auto-skinned ?

Could we know why latest beta buid of SDC (2.38c*b*.211 build 140) is auto skinned (whith which skin indeed ?) and should it be possible to leave up this ugly thing ??

Well, MikeB's 'StealthOS' is not really ugly, but I would prefer SDC using the applied WB-Skin again, too.

That's what i mean, not the skin which is ugly but to be applied instead of the WB used ...

Thinking about it, I thought that SDC was unskinned for a while.
They must be using Direct skin to give it a little polish for those that don't have WB.

Maybe we'll get an option to turn it off in a future build. Or maybe an option to "Use current skin"?

I just deleted the folder and restored from my backup (Drive Image). I'm not having any program on my pc which tries to tell me what skin to use

Well son of a gun! I had "show pre-release versions" set for OD, but I didn't for SDC.

I updated, you're right! This sucks.

I always liked Stealth, I'll survive until the uproar causes them to change it back.

Thanks for the heads up...I turned off the updates for SDC...hopefully that will keep it from updating...not that I don't want the updates or not like Mikes skin...I just like keeping "My" theme and not having a conflict of skins on anything. Choice is a good thing!

I don't do betas on SDC......I don't mind using beta OD programs, but I'm not about to chance borking the whole OD setup with a bad SDC. SDCs what allows me to "roll back" a buggy beta. If it fails.......makes me break out in goosebumps just to think about it.

Hi guys. This was one of those betas that wasn't actually meant to go out to you guys. Sorry! We're working on fixing it right now.

Be assured that if we do actually release something like this in the future, we'll have a way to turn it off as well.

Trouble corrected on version 2.38d*b*.213 buid 140 (even if the new option *Custom Stardock Central Skin* in *General settings* seems to be not working ... )
