Wondowblinds install prob

Let me try and type this with the least amount of confusion. It happens in both the paid and free trial version of windowblinds.
When the program is being install it go off without probs untill it hits 1%. when it hits 1% i get the error stating that i dont have permission to make chages yada yada yada. Im sure most of you being experts know this error.
So with logical think as well as puzzlement being i am the owner and administrator of my pc. I decide to login the Main ADMIN account. so i hit cntrl-alt-delete. login in manualy.
Now that i am in the main admin acc. the big dog account. i go to install wb. Same problem. Hits 1% and get the same error.
Now here is where it gets weird. after the error i go ahead and reboot. Well it seems it did install. So i then procede to change the wondows theme. Goes without a prob. Restart teh system to be sure no major problems are there. How about that even though i got the error it installed,or i thought it did at least. I open up wb again and i get error crash. The program basiclly gets a browsing error. i decide to delte the themes i have added reboot and reopen the program. Still get the error then wb shutsdown.
Now my question is. Even though i am the main admin or if i login and try to install from the big dog acc i get the error install. Though it seemed to install after reboot i get the error that crashes the program. Logically thinking that last 1% is causing a problem during install. So is there a trick unwritten somewhere to get it to install that missing 1% without getting the admin error? Im wondering if somewhere in my registry the pc local security restrictions corrupted users acounts and not giving correct inherent permission to allow such things. I just really dont wanna reinstall windows. Anyways. hopefully you understand the problems and have some advice. Yes i run avast antivirus/webshield/email protection/script blocking. During install i diable everything so i know that not causing it. Thank you for your time and patience

are you installing the standalone version or downloading/installing via the SDC browser-downloader-installer-updater-et al?

If the standalone I suggest you uninstall then install via the SDC brower - I've never had any issues doing this way

Yes it is the standalone version. I'll see if the installing through sdc will work. I dont actually use it. I run objectdock and desktopx. Both standalones never had a prob with them. May be a few days before i can give it a shot. but will let ya know if it helps

I don't believe that either ObjectDock or DesktopX requires the kind of interfacing that WindowBlinds does. Installing through SDC may allow you to finally install WindowBlinds, however. (be sure you remove any files that might've been installed from the WindowBlinds directory)

It's likely that something's still preventing access to those files when you run the installer, as the install should run fine under an admin account.
