8c, scattered clouds and a bit of a blow - wind chill has a bite to it!

Looks like the New Year might arrive with a bit of property damage - there's a 30% chance of wind in excess of 80mph

15 mins to go 'til midnight fireworks....camera/tripod at the ready......was supposed to rain, but hasn't.....was supposed to be windy enough to perhaps consider cancelling....nice and calm.....21c...

Almost 11pm, NYE ...and still about 30c here in the tropics.

The night is reasonably clear, with just a scattering of high cloud.

Perfect weather for the fireworks which begin in just over an hour.

It is 9:34am here in NC, and it is cloudy with rain on the way and 56F. It's suppose to rain tonight too.
