New PC for Christmas - How do I transfer Stardock software?

Hi all,

Got the new PC for Christmas.  How do I transfer/copy and install the stardock software onto a CD or DVD and then the new PC?   I have the object desktop which includes lots of the Stardock software, including Stardock central, serial number of course.  Is it easier to install stardock central and download the individual software or copy directories?  It would be nice to be able to transer all the themes, suites and etc... that I downloaded in the past.  I know I should have purchased the extra CD when I renewed my subscription but at the time I didn't have the new PC.  Is purchasing the CD also an option?  I usually misplace my CD's if I don't use them all the time.

I understand that I can archive the programs like windowblinds in object desktop but does that also backup my stardock central.  If so, there doesn't seem to be an easy to transfer to a CD and install on a new PC.

I'm sure there are others out there with new laptops or PC's that need to transfer their software, and not just Stardock software.  Although Stardock is my first priority.  Can't blame me for wanting to be better the the average user.

Thanks, in advance.

Rob

Choose the Archive "Entire Application (including skins) option.
This will save the archives in C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\BACKUP
Burn those to disk.
If you still have the download for the Stardock Central installer, burn that also.
If you no longer have it, you'll need to download it again.
Save your serial numbers to a text file, and burn that also, so you'll have it handy on the new PC.

Install Stardock Central on new PC, enter serial number(s), restore archives.
Done.
