Very Lenient Game! A +++++

For the first time in a very long time, I've finally found a great game that includes GREAT abilities and is super lenient. Being modder, I've always enjoyed opening up games from the inside and fooling around with them. However, much of what I've changed, I've had to go through some... "Bad" processes to get through strange compressions and what-not, just so I could customize the game. With Gal-Civ II, I have the ability to completely change the game from the content, right down to the very ship textures. This is truely amazing! Hats off to you developers my friends! It's like breathing fresh air! I'm finally able to do what I wish with out having to download strange programs to extract code, or wait for source codes to be released. Right in the game's very instruction manual are directories to sites that provide me with code extractors that are safe, and have made the game easy for modders! =D Plus, with the way your website has been set up, it makes updating and improving my version of Gal-Civ II SUPER easy! This is the way it should be! Bravo!!! You can be assured that there's at least one very happy customer who truely enjoys the many benefits you have provided me with! Thank you very much!

It is refreshing to see a post like this regarding GalCiv2. Most people seem to take this very option for granted and focus on the negative aspects most games of this genre are plagued with.

I say Bravo! Bravo to you sir, for taking the time and reminding all of us what a great job Stardock has done with this game.

Since you seem to have in-depth knowledge regarding mods, it might be rather fun for you to create new mods for us to try out. Once completed you can upload them directly into the library here on this very site, so that we all can see your handy work, first hand.

Also, there are several threads posted in the Modding section of the forums, for people looking for some help with their current mods, maybe you could even give them a hand.

Once again, thank you for the outstanding reminder. Hope to see you on the forums sir.
