Help associating wallpaper to windowblinds skins

Hi! could anyone please tell me how do I associate the specific wallpaper of a windowblinds skin to it? some skins i downloaded come with their own wallpaper, for example skins like grave paradise, dogmaX4, x360, jitter, etc. but some skins didnt have wallpapers.... the wallpapers were available for download separately. some examples of such skins are: blackcomb, picp tea, saurora, plasmatron, neutronium, etc. I downloaded these skins & the wallpaper for that particular skin, now i want to associate the wallpaper to the skin, so that when i apply the skin, the wallpaper also is applied. How do i do this? can someone please help? thanks in advance!

Yah, it should be no sweat man. In the Tray click on the WB Icon and have at it dude. You can change any & everything from there for each skin set or suite if you have those all in one place.

Have a Happy!

Double-click the tray icon ...this should open the WB config panel.

As wiskyjon said [in his own way ] ...you can change the settings for WB and the way it applies things from the config panel. Wallpapers too.

Hunt around in there and see what everything does. It's the best way to learn.

B.T.W... are you using the full, or trial version of WB5? ...I have the full version, and I'm not entirely sure what you can change with the trial version. It may just be that you can't change the wall settings in the trial vers.

I understand your question. What you are asking needs to be done in SkinStudio. Move the wallpaper you want associating to the skin's folder. Open the skin in SkinStudio and navigate in the left panel to 'Desktop'. In the right panel select 'Desktop Wallpaper' and use the 'Adjusted Image' drop down box to browse the skin's folder for the wallpaper image. When that is done apply and save changes (the WB icon on SkinStudio's toolbar).

Then in WB configuration > Change my Wallpaper, select 'Use Skin Wallpaper' and 'Apply my changes'.

But in WB config there is no "Change my Wallpaper" section/tab at all! Here's a list of options i have in wb config:

Settings:
skins
toolbars
animations
basic settings
user overrides
per application

WindowBlinds:
Apply changes
UI settings
Unload windowblinds
close window
system information

Thats all there is! on the right is the preview section with the skins present below!

What version of WB are you using?

Its under the basic setting tab that shows in your list. Click on it and you will see.

Settings:
skins
toolbars
animations

Just use print scrn and paste it into Paint, then upload it to someplace like imageshack.

Let's take it back a step

In the WB config window there should be an option for System Info.
Click on it and paste the results here.

If, by chance, you aquired this version of WB through "creative" or "unknown" methods, post the aquisition method too.

I re-installed windows & after the basic updates (to windows & norton), i installed WB 5.1.....

Now i see the wallpapers section, & the skins also seem to apply/ change faster.... the pc was relatively slower previously, now it seems faster.... but it was faster (ever so slightly) before installing WB.... anyone feel the same way? My sys specs are:

Win XP Pro with SP2 (with office XP) (& everything is updated to the latest version automatically)

2.4 GHz P4 processor

1 GB DDR 400 RAM

80 GB HDD

512MB NVidia 6800 XT AGP GPU

And, here are the system info results as Zubaz asked:

WindowBlinds 5.1 System Information Report:

STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ TRAY+

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC.

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

You have one monitor in total.

(Plug and Play Monitor) 1 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce 6800 XT

(As *We don't know what's in that Dell you bought last July or the notebook with integrated graphics the office gave you...*, i've already posted my system specs!)

Would have been nice to see the list of dll's along with your other WB specs. Those are the most important part, but looks like you got it fixed.
