Move Window -> Window shrinks = Bug?

Hello,

I installed WindowBlinds 5.1 Build 81 (Windows XP SP2, 32-bit) today and noticed that a window will shrink, every time I move it. This became very obvious with the file copy dialog box, it got smaller and smaller with no option to resize it.

Is this a known bug? Do you need hardware specs, screen shots etc? It seems to happen with all the skins I tested it with.

Best regards,
Chris

Yes, all skins. It only seems to happen in the Shareware version. After I upgraded to the full version, the problem went away (same skin). I'd still consider it a bug...

I also have the same problem but only when WindowFX 3.0 is running at the same time as WindowBlinds. For example, open IE and move it on the screen. Everytime it is moved, the width gets smaller. If you minimize the window, and then restore, it comes back fine. I have the latest software installed and I have paid versions.

The bug is present in selected Skins - I tried "Vista Plus V2" and it's there. It's working fine in "Acrylic" skin works just fine - but has another issue. When Clicking on the title bar, the window becomes transparent and can not be used until moved on the screen. This bug is not occurring in the Vista plus v2 skin.

Any ideas?

I found a fix for my PC. I have an NVIDIA videocard with the nView software enabled. The problem goes away if you disable window transparency with the nView software and let WindowsFX handling the transparency when dragging a window.
