Multiple Mods

Maybe this is easy, but i haven't figured out how to do this. Is it possible to load multiple mods?? example, Kryto's hull mod, and the No Improvement mods. Do i just combine these into the same mod folder, assuming of course that file names are all different.??

I use Kryo's mod, and I have mods of my own as well as a few things from the Star Trek mod. They are all combined into the KHSM folder structure.

So, yup, it is easy.

If you have two of the same file going into the same folder, just combine them into a single file in Notepad or other XML editor (just make sure you don't have duplicate entries).

Actually that's not generally necessary. The game will read multiple XMLs of the same type from a folder (as with my mod, which is broken into multiple XML files for ease of disabling any parts you don't want).

I want to use two mods together:

I have the folders KHSM and High Res Graphics Mod, I can just put the files in one or the other folder (KHSM and High Res Graphics Mod), and use THAT folder in-game?

Thanks

Yep. Make sure you run the batch file for KHSM from its intended location first before you merge mods though.

I've done just that. All I had to do was copy all the folders of the High-Res mod into my Default folder, which is where I had copied Kryo's mod previously. Everything's working just fine.

Just be careful in the future if you add any more mods. Make sure that their files aren't going to be overwritten by each other. Not a problem with those two mods since the files are completely different, but it could happen that two mods are both changing GC2Ships, for example.
