Get Into the Spirit of the Season with Christmas Time from Stardock!

The skinners were nestled, all snug in their beds, as visions of wacoms danced in their heads

Deck the halls, jingle some bells, roast some chestnuts and build yourself a snowman, it's Christmas Time!  As the snow falls outside your window, the fire roars behind you, you start stressing out over going to the mall to shop for all of your 2nd and 3rd cousins twice removed, and you're tempted to heavily spike that glass of eggnog you're currently sipping on, take a break and grab the new Christmas Time theme from Stardock.  This is a stand-alone suite that anyone can download and run, without having to install any Stardock software.  This would be a great gift to hand out to friends and family who might be interested in customizing their desktops, but don't want to spend the money on any software before seeing what they'd be getting.

The Christmas Time Desktop Theme comes with:

  • The Christmas Time Visual Style by Mormegil
  • A matching icon set
  • Themed Calendar and  Snowglobe Clock gadgets

As a special bonus, we've worked with several members of the WinCustomize community to build some additional matching gadgets for this theme.  I highly recommend everyone takes a look them, they're very nice and are a fun addition to this holiday theme.

Where's the Clock?
Man I love this suite. Use it every year. The Icons & Progress Animations are just Pro all the way. 5 stars
Thank All & Merry Christmas.
Ok..Guess the clock is in the package. Like I said, I have been using this for years. Time to upgrade.

Trying to install this theme results in the installation of "Stardock MyColors," which looks a bit like ThemeManager/Suites.

If later you decide to uninstall MyColors (why would you want it, if you already have ObjectDesktop with all its components??), the uninstallation routine ends up removing WindowBlinds, IconPackager and ThemeManager, as well!

I had to reinstall these three applications via Stardock Central.

Why not provide a link to a ThemeManager suite instead of an .exe that installs some weird thing called MyColors??

i agree with cavalierex. Why cant we get a link to a suite for us i want that little clock but in order to get that clock i have to install this y

cavalierex, The uninstalling MyColors issue wiping out your ODNT applications is something we thought resolved in internal builds a few weeks back. If the error has resurfaced, we need to track the problem down again and squash it. Please email [email protected] so we can start troubleshooting exactly where the error lies in the uninstaller.

"MyColors" is Thememanager, just with a new branding thing.

This is released as a free theme to everyone, so it has to include the base thememanger and components to run on machines that don't have OD.

I will look into getting a regular suite released of it, though, for OD users.

Yeah, we need to look into that ASAP.

I would also like to see it as a standalong suite, if for nothing but the clock. Already have most of the parts in use here, but not that one.

Ditto on the Clock -- How can we get it separate from the .exe package. The entire suite is awesome!

What serial number does it want? I tried using my OD serial but it was refused. If the program is free where do I get a serial number from? Thanks.

Since I only use this thing once a year, it always strikes me as new and cool every time I load it up.

As far as I'm concerned this theme is timeless and the one that ultimately ends up being used on my computer more than any other during the Holidays. Would like to get that clock without the rest since I am already a OD subscriber.
