Can you describe your problem better?
I am not seeing a bug where I think you are talking about.

have you considered a QA process?

Have you considered that this could be interpreted as rudeness and might cause your problem to be addressed as you would like?

I think what I wrote originally is sufficient for most support professionals who are familiar with the product - but since these professionals may not exist:

Under Dock Properties/Positioning/Layering:
when "always on top" is selected the behavior is "always on bottom" AND
when "always on bottom" is selected the behavior is "always on top"

and might cause your problem to be addressed as you would like?

getting the problem addressed as I would like is my goal!

Sorry Z, couldn't help it.. I think he got you

I saw this yesterday, but I don't have the plus version so couldn't check it out.

gotta kinda agree with Z .

Might work, but personally I'm not sure it's necessary. The forums stay pretty active and there is always either email to support or the help serve ticket.
Even though it does say 'Stardock Support' - it's stilll pretty much as described on the Support page = user support. On the good hand, support amd/or devs do come through when they can.

but since these professionals may not exist:

Yer still jerking Z's chain, yes?

getting the problem addressed as I would like is my goal!

When you installed the newest version of OD 1.5 did you install right over the old version? Have you tried uninstalling the whole thing and getting a fresh version?  The reason I ask is have tried this on 3 PCs now and cannot replicate the problem.

I use SDC for installing/de-installing these programs. I've been told by sd support that that is the preferred method for these functions. If deinstalling is required before upgrading then sdc should do this.

I just deinstalled and re-installed and have the same issue. Maybe I should wear some beads, stick a bone through my nose and dance around the computer while installing; since magic seems to be the only cure for these half-baked products...

If that would help with your attitude it might be worth a try.

Try this to just clear the cache:

Be aware this reverts back all settings.

Seabass6.7's recommendation (to delete all the config files) worked. Now tech support can close this problem since they feel they have fixed the bug. But what caused the problem in the first place? I don't edit these config files manually...

so there still is a bug somewhere!
