James Kim Found Dead

The family was lost in Oregon Canyon

I've been following the story of the Kim family who have been missing since November 25, right after Thanksgiving.

I was very happy to hear that the mom and the two children were found alive and well on Monday. I prayed the dad would be found alive also. Alas, that was not meant to be.

It just breaks my heart to hear this news, even though I don't know them, I am sad that their family trip ended in this way.

Mason, tell me...would you, have just stayed in the car and not gone for help...for YOUR family?

I applaud him, he did that for his family.

He was not a dumbass, and calling him one - even if it is your right, is wrong - in my opinion.

Actually, while we might think it wasn't a good idea to leave the car, according to the news report I heard this morning, the searchers found his children and wife because of the tracks he left in the snow when he left the car. If it were not for the tracks, they wouldn't have found them so quickly. So he did a good thing for them, but unfortunately the authorities don't know whether he fell or it was just the elements that killed him.



He was not a dumbass, and calling him one - even if it is your right, is wrong - in my opinion.



I would say, dumb act instead of dumb ass, but because of his tracks, the kids and mom survived. But that's just me, too nice to say dumb ass!

Mason wouldn't get lost because he knows the roads, doing what he does for a living!
