Microsoft Introduces "Expression Studio"

Today, Microsoft launched its new development suite for creative professionals.  Expression Studio is comprised of Expression Web, Expression Design, Expression Media, and Expression Blend.  Expression Web, which replaces Frontpage 2003, was released today and the rest of the suite will follow in Q2 2007.

"Expression Studio comprises Expression Web for creating standards-based Web sites; Expression Blend (formally Interactive Designer) for designing rich interactive experiences for Windows®; Expression Design (formally Graphic Designer) for the design of visual elements for Web and Windows experiences; and a new tool, Expression Media, which provides digital asset management and unifies team workflow across the suite."

The Expression suite is the most impressive thing I've seen come out of the Microsoft stable in many years, perhaps even ever. Expression Blend (which was originally called Sparkle in the old days) is especially cool. Mark my words - in a couple of years time this technology will totally change the face of Windows thick *and* thin client GUIs.

I am confused. expression web replaces frontpage? what then is Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 that comes with the office package? I thought that is the frontpage replacement.
