Newbie Help

Hi there, I just purchased Object Desktop and I need a little help. I downloaded WindowBlinds once I had Stardoc Central up and registered, however when I try to change the color of a theme that I've gotten, WindowBlinds tells me I need the expanded version that comes with Object Desktop. How and where do I get this and how do I get a serial number so I can activate it?

I love the idea of changing the bland boring way windows looks, especially XP, which is UGLY in it's natural state if you ask me.

Thanks in advance for any/all help

did you register your ODNT serial number before downloading?

Open WB configuration, click system information on the left and copy/paste to here all the info

Stardoc Central up and registered,

If by this you mean with your Stardock.net info, then next you must register Object Desktop thru Stradock Central. You should have been giving a serial number at time of purchase, also should have received an email with SDC link and OD serila number.

Okay ladifrog. When connected to WinCutomize in Stardock Central(SDC) look on your left you should see a listing starting with Games through Skins and Themes with Icons showing those are the various connectivity capabilities of SDC. If not click on View (topbar menu) and make sure that Show Sidebar is checked. The email you received should include a serial number for registering Object Desktop. All you have to do is register Object Desktop and all the components WindowBlinds, DesktopX, IconPackager, Icon Developer, etc. will be automatically registered also. Make sure you are logged in.

So click on the Object Desktop Icon download your programs and register. If you are on dial-up, it's gonna take awhile to download everything. I downloaded using dial-up and it took me 2 evenings - not too bad. And, it's been fun learning all the components.
