New to this whole thing

im looking for some assistance with all of this. Ive been wanting to get new themes for my computer for quite sometime now but ive had no idea how. I friend at work pointed me in this direction. Can anyone inform me what i need to purchase from the site in order to be able to download themes for my computer and possible create some of my own.

When you say themes, I think of DesktopX Themes, which would require you to purchase DesktopX.

If you are speaking of the Windows OS Graphical User Interface (GUI) then you'll want to purchase WindowBlinds.

Both of these have trial periods for you to try before you buy.

With that said, I highly recommend the Object Desktop subscription. You can't go wrong with this. The price savings is incredible, plus it includes SkinStudio for the creation of Windowblind skins.
