Custom races

I've been looking but I figured it would be best to ask here. Is there a mod out there that lets you play AGAINST a custom race you made? I would really love to play one of my custom races(and see how well they fare against my other one) but I don't know any way of doing so. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

To alter the opponent races in standard GC2, you'd need to edit RaceConfig.xml directly with the changes you want to make (In DA you can simply configure them in-game as you do your own race).

Im gettin DA for christmas, I even have suggestions:
*New Weapons, like Sonic Weapons, Acid weapons, Liquid Nitrogen Guns, Wave Guns, Machine Guns, Melee weapons, and more.
*Ability to change the backround image in the ship editor.
*New Engines.
*More Moddability.
*Cooler Music.
*Super Races and Mega Races.
*Ability to play against Dread lords, talk to them, and even modify a weakened version of them.
*looks for the Dread lords.
*The Arnor.
*Example Races for n00bs.
ObjectDock - Access shortcuts and frequently used applications from an animated dock.
