I'm back for the first time...

... after a round trip of the pond

Just got back yesterday from my trip across the pond. Got to visit two wonderfully beautiful countries (Scottland and Ireland) and definately enjoyed them and the hospitality of the locals.

To say it's beautiful countryside over there is almost a blatent understatement. Hills, tree's and such a deep history. I got to see 2 castles while I was there, 1 in Ireland (Blarney Castle) and one in Scottland (Edinburg Castle). Both were amazing to see, but no I didn't kiss the Blarney stone. I don't think I need the gift of gab bad enough to kiss a stone I'm sure some drunken Irishman has pissed on before... LoL

I ended up spending too much money (2+ US dollars to the pound!! Crikey! and also like a buck 50 to the Euro!!! Yeesh!) And I won't go into just how funny the Euro and pounds look.

It sounds like you had a good cruise. Being able to visit these various places was definitely the big perk of being in Uncle Sam's canoe club.

Well I thought that spelling was the correct one, but decided on 'Scottland' because it seemed more asthetically pleasing to my mind.. LoL
