Best Overall Skinner of the 2006 GUI Championships!

In this years GUI Championship competition, over $12,000 in cash, software, site subscriptions, and prizes were up for grabs.  We saw some fantastic submissions from around the world in the Icon Package, Wallpapers, and Visual Style categories.  We  have already given away two video cards from EVGA and NVIDIA,  a few Xbox 360's, cash, and a bunch of software. 

Now it's time to announce the Best Overall Skinner of the 2006 GUI Championships.  The prize for this winner will be an Alienware Area-51 m5750 Multimedia Entertainment Laptop.

Congratulations and a big round of applause for the winner, JJ Ying. 

JJ Ying submitted some outstanding wallpapers and Windowblinds skins including Azenis and Edisso, which had a great following throughout the competition.

Yeppers as they say. J.J. Ying posted some outstanding entries. Congrats to everyone. I've enjoyed being a spectator at my first GUI's. The contest and web page were excellent.

Agreed. I was ho hum about this at the start, but once I saw the entries, I started following the contest on a daily basis. Congratulations on a WELL DESERVED WIN JJ!!!!
