Content w/o Co-Habitating

So I suppose an introduction is in order, just in case someone out there really is reading, and even if there isn't, I'll just pretend there is. Hello Reader!
For the purposes of this blog, I'll just call myself zeen. Good 'nuff.
I'm 30something. I'm in a committed, monogamous, and hetereosexual relationship that does not include co-habitating. I am presently very content with this. I have a couple fantastic children that I may or may not blog about.
My life has undergone some pretty drastic changes in the past year. I moved to a "big city," got a real job, and pretty much had to grow up. Get an apartment and learn how to be an adult. I was pretty book-smart, but I didn't know what I didn't know. Now I'm scared of the stuff I still don't know I don't know, but I rest easy that I'll just have to muddle through, no matter what.
Which leads me, in a meandering way, to a positive event in my life! I got a raise yesterday! It was coming, it was due, and I am stoked. It's nice to have good things happen. And it was nice that my supervisor waited until Friday to tell me. What a great way to end the week. Sets the tone for a relaxing couple of days off.
Today I did some shopping, got some things I'd been putting off getting but now can afford. Bonus. Then hit the grocery store and stocked up on a few things. I have to go back yet after I decide what I'm gunna do for Thanksgiving. Pretty sure I'll do the whole meal deal. Just gotta. A day off of work to cook and eat, just me and the kids. Maybe I'll even make those apricot thumbprint cookies. I'll make some strawberry ones too cause the kids don't like apricots. Heathens.
I haven't really decided how to do my blog yet. One big blog every now and then to consolidate all the little bits and thoughts collected over a period of time, or smaller more frequent entry? Probably the latter with a larger rambling entry like this one to boot every now and then.
Out of steam now. Need to build up endurance for this thing called blogging.
