HELP: start menu not working

not sure what i did, but i've been trying out new skins and stuff and now the "all programs" window is messed up.

i have neOS NeoShell installed for windowsblinds, and it shows the black sidebar thing when i click/open the all programs window on the start menu, but all the folders and links are in grey box and black text format when it should be black box white text.

does anyone know how i can fix this? thanks.

on the preview pane in WB config there is a link called "Change skin color" - did you play with that?

If you have Skin Studio, did you try changing anything on the skin?

maybe something i installed played with the coloring options? how can i fix it?


haven't a clue, since I haven't a clue to what you have installed.

did you try deleting the skin a getting a fresh one?

i didn't play with "change skin color" and i don't have skin studio. i just tried deleting the folder, downloading a new copy, and installing, but it's still the same. maybe it's displaying how it's supposed to and i'm confusing it with another skin. does windows blinds control what shows up when i go to "all programs"? thanks again for your help.

if you mean 'does it skin it', yes.


Not sure how/why you decided the 'all programs' should be black with white text...


look at the Screenshot - to the right of the start pane', above the 'my videos' box is the desktop right click menu - it matches the all programs

i must've been confusing it with another skin i had installed earlier or something. thanks for the help!
